"Pyxis" is part of the artist's extended Terracotta Collection series. The name, Amphora, describes an ancient Grecian vessel used to hold precious trinkets such as jewelry, incense or medicine and is a nod to times when vessels used in daily life were truly artisan, made from natural and organic materials.
